Nosferatu
Composer and multi-instrumentalist musician, Edwin Montgomery, has written a haunting original score to the first vampire movie ever made: Murnau's timeless 1922 silent horror masterpiece, 'Nosferatu'.
Would love to see you at The Armidale Playhouse to catch this 102-year-old cult classic.
Edwin will perform their original music to this silent film live, using a combination of loop pedals and ghostly distortions that weave synths, violin, guitar, theremin, mandolin, voice and percussion into an eerie and provocative soundscape.
This is the way this film should be experienced. Dress for Halloween and bring someone to hold onto.

In the Shadow of Eden
With music spanning 75 years and the vast landscapes of Australia and the United States, In the Shadow of Eden is an exploration of identity, belonging, and what it means to be human within the wonder that is our natural surroundings. The program takes us from the initial awakening of a child’s awareness, through abstract philosophising on the nature of reality (or was that the reality of nature?) to an urgent search for self-identity, culminating in a final cry out in warning for our future, if we don’t learn the lessons of our past. Featuring captivating music by some of Australia and America’s greatest composers for the voice, In the Shadow of Eden is an evening sure to delight both aficionados and casual listeners alike.
